## Skills Quizzes

The purpose of the Skills Quizzes is to measure the proficiency of students for one particular skill. Each quiz is assessed with either a grade of Pass or Zero. In the online grade book the grades will appear as either 1 or 0 graded out of 1 possible point. Generally a passing grade is achieved with a score of 85% or higher. When a quiz has only 2 or three questions a passing grade would be all problems correct. When a quiz has 4 questions, occasionally 3 out of 4 is a passing grade.

The table that follows provides a list of past and future quizzes that will be used to assess student understanding. There are Excel workbooks that are available for students to use for review and practice, and extra help is available after school. All students should work on all skills until a passing grade is achieved for each skill. In some cases there are links below that will provide access to practice quizzes; in some cases actual quizzes that students used are provided.

Students looking for additional practice should take the quizzes that are provided here and then check their answers using the keys that are also provided.
